Project Update: Towards the end

I said we were towards the end, I was lying, in truth now comes the best part. We begin to review all those little things that make a game so.

In fact, I’m working on a set of things that will allow me to improve the gaming experience. I have already started to rearrange what I already had and implement some new things.

We now have a shield that is no longer limited in time but has 3 states that represent its integrity, I have added new power-ups and will add more later. We now have the possibility to recover lost lives, a new type of secondary fire and ammo is now limited.

Obviously, it’s not an original game, but the goal is to create some effects that will make it more mine than the current state.

This in addition to being the new fire mode was also a nice bug. If you destroy the asteroid with more than one bullet, the game starts more than once and spawns a lot of enemy ships and power-ups. And that’s how bullet hell is born.
